ISA contributions timelines

Hey, does anyone know if ISA contributions stop being treated as ISA balances after a period of time? Wether since deposit or since engagement… I expect the answer to be no but no clue if there’s confirmation in the market! Referring to investment stocks and shares ISAs rather than generic cash saving isas.

    Once money is in an ISA it stays there, with its tax-free status, until you withdraw it....

    ...or Mr Hunt decides to strip them of their tax free status. With three quarters of a trillion pounds saved in ISAs that's a lot of forgiven tax on the interest earned.
