Agreed, although this was free money. It's unlikely to be totally wiped out, and could possibly do very well.
I've done a similar investment, no great expectations and just interested to see how it goes.0 -

But the LLOY share price has halved in the past ~14 years. It's one of the worst-performing shares in stock market history.0 -

I reckon they have lost about 90% value since thenI keep them as a reminder as to the dangers of individual company share ownership!
