Hi. Placed an order for a new pay monthly phone online with EE they took the upfront payment of £10 and then I got to a screen saying the below
I've tried contacting them online but they said I need to call I suffer with really bad anxiety and I'm struggling to make the call has anyone had this message before and if so what did it mean? Has the initial credit check passed?

If you google Orange PAYG you will find they are owned by France Telecom and part of T-Mobile technically written as Tmoble/Orange so how that ties up with EE I have no idea as the is no mention of EE on their website0

Ee is UK name of the company formed by the merger of tmobile and orange. It was then acquired by bt. I don't know if they still use the orange brand elsewhere. It seems genuine and may be about a delivery date, connection date or similar, or could be an issue with payment process. To be safe don't give out any payment details over the phone and could someone be with you when you call?0

Orange hasn't existed as a brand in the UK since I believe 2019 when the legacy accounts were finally switched over/rebranded to EE.Orange does still exist in France, a few parts of Europe and some parts of South Africa. The telephone number listed belongs to EE, though not sure why it says Orange PAYG, unless that's an advert?:

You'll have to call. It's probably nothing I've had it twice, first time was to confirm trade in details & second to confirm some details.0
