Cafe problem - wording £ prices on menu

I don't suppose that having a "food served all day" sign obligates the establishment to provide it's full menu for the entire day.
It's not like they took money of you (for dinner) and then didn't provide it.
There may be a multitude of reasons why the kitchen might close, or close early especially in the dead time between lunch and dinner.
The roadside truck near me has a sign saying food served until 2pm, but it's not unusual to see her packing up early if there's no one about.
