New tumble drier - is this condensation normal?

Thanks Ris.. i should have mentioned i discovered another filter over the weekend .. handy brush inside the door so that was easy ..so i am up to three now and a water tank.
I did thing the difference between a condenser drier and heat pump was it took the heat out the 'exhaust' which would mean more water condense out and not adding warm exaust to the room. But had missed the obvious bit that machines working generate warmth too..
will put the windows open a crack again.. tricky for me to do ..r oll on spring when we can just leave top windows open in the house.
I never expected to be confused buying a tumble drier but there are so many options now compared to the stick the hose out the window and turn on type i had before that i dont really know what to expect, wat should be happening and what shouldnt .

Do you actually use the conservatory as a living space in winter time? If so, I guess you'll be heating it? That is almost always (perhaps always...) a complete waste of energy - unless the room is essential. Most folk isolate their conservatories over winter, unless it happens to collect enough solar gain to make it usable. So, if you don't use it as a living space, then please consider closing off the house doors to it, crack open the conservatory windows to 'vent' at all times, and open them further when t-drying. You should end up with a cold-but-dry conservatory. (Obviously there is a 5oC lower limit for the t-drier, so perhaps only use it on brighter days when you know the temp is above this.)IF, however, the condensation is being caused by a fault in the machine, or a blocked filter or similar, then ignore everything (most of what) I said :-)

A heat pump drier is a condensing drier. But a more efficient one that extracts heat from the condensate and recycles it back to the drum to dry the clothes more efficiently. It extracts heat from the condensate, but the drier will still produce the same amount of water vapour as a non-heat pump condenser. This however should be minimal. No free lunch, and no free laptop1

Even 2-5% moisture escapeing will seem a lot in a cold con

It sounds like its not a faulty machine.. i've just got to work out what works for us . So thats ok one less battle to undertake.
This is weird .. hello thanks.. sorry is said 'tricky to open close windows' as i use a wheelchair and they are top windows so harder to reach. just mobility issues.
We do use it as a room all year round..(unless very cold) its used for hobbies etc, sometimes family meals just a way to sit a bit more outside and have a cuppa when its too cold to be outside... its also our only way into the garden no alternate back door.
We have an oil radiator for frost protection and a fan heater but unless its really cold we seem to be ok to use it. Joining door to house is usually open during the daytime. For us its living space as house isnt huge.
Cold but dry does however sound better than steamed up .. so will try venting windows during day.
