Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 4G - eSIM Options

I have this watch connected to my Vodafone mobile account using their OneNumber service. Costs additional £7/mth over phone contract.

Very happy with the functionality but wanted to check what is available from the other operators to see if savings might be available. Could people who are signed up to other operators or who have recently checked this out let me know if the following is correct from my research:

1. Only Vodafone, EE and O2 have eSim services useable by this watch

2. Only OneNumber will allow the linked phone to be switched off and the watch to make calls / send texts and receive calls / texts over LTE/4G

3. The O2 and EE proffers require a separate PAYM contract for the eSIM service - OneNumber shares the plan with the phone

4. O2 service can only be set up in-store

Any other insights / experiences gratefully received.
