PAT Testing for White Goods

You could try charity shops. Some will collect goods from the home and some have facilities to PAT test (think our local Shelter shop is one).
Otherwise see how much the Council charge for taking them away.
Problem solved.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)1 -
PAT testing is just advisory. I didn’t do it for my last rental as the freestanding fridge freezer was brand new. You don’t need it for integrated appliances, just the freestanding ones.I supply the minimum appliances in any event - legally you have to supply an oven and hob for unfurnished properties, but that’s all. No microwave. I only supplied a fridge freezer in this property as they are pretty low risk and a big ticket item for renters. I wouldn’t supply a freestanding washing machine or dishwasher because they break and are a hassle. Most estate agents will let you sign an indemnity if you don’t do a PAT test.Next time you get an electrician in to do some work, you can always add it then.I find it ironic that there’s such a fuss with PAT testing whereas it’s not compulsory to service a boiler, but just do the gas safety certificate. Doesn’t make sense.2

Offer to sell them to the tenant for a nominal sum, then they will be their responsibility.
Better than the tip.1
