in Credit cards
My wife has run away from the family home to start a new life some months ago, she had several credit accounts only 1 credit card that Im aware of that has a balance of 4k.
This was a sole credit card, basically I knew of the card but not the debt and I paid some 300 off the balance when I discovered a statement that was hidden from me.
Since she abandoned the family home I have been returning mail to sender and writing the likely address she was staying at for their reference on the envelope.
I can see there are more and more letters arriving related to these debts and I continue to RTS, can anyone advise what if anything further I should be doing?

Surely if the debts are solely in the OP's wife's name then there's nothing for the OP to do? The creditors can chase the wife, but not the OP.

If you are financially associated on your credit reports any non payment will impact your record as well."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

Do you still have any joint financial products like a mortgage?
Check your own credit files to see if she's linked to you in their records - and if you no longer have any joint accounts - complete the process they outline to disassociate yourself with her financially.
Otherwise as mentioned, her negative activity could potentially affect your own future attempts to obtain credit.
And as others have said - all existing paperwork soley in her name - keep returning to sender.0 -

I can ditch the Current account but not the mortgage currently.
Am concerned about the credit impact0 -
