TSB Bank App Manage Cards Feature

Within the App, there is a button named 'Move Money'. Beside it, I can see another button that looks like a bank card. When I tap that button a screen comes up titled 'Manage Cards'. However, it doesn't show my debit card. It say's 'You've no cards to view'.
I received my debit card in August 2022. Any particular reason(s) I cannot manage that card from the App?

Is that your first TSB account? If you’ve ever had to create another online banking profile when applying for an account, make sure to use those specific login details to see the associated card.0

Well, when I applied for a second spend and save account in October (as there was an incentive on), the application process said 'Already registered for Digital banking with TSB?.....You'll need to setup new login details for this account even if you're already registered for TSB digital banking...AmityNeon said:Is that your first TSB account? But don't worry it's only temporary....We'll email you the details ....done some IT wizadry at our end'.
So I chose a completely separate user ID for second account (joebloggs002) as from above I understood that it doesn't matter what we call this profile (as it was going to be combined with initial profile anyway)
Are you saying I should've entered my initial profile name here (joebloggs001). But then would the system have accepted it? surely it would've complained saying a profile by that name already exists? I mean TSB system wouldn't have been able to figure out that it was me who was asking for the same profile name, otherwise the wizardry would've happened there and then!

When applying for new accounts you do have to create additional online banking profiles, but TSB doesn't merge them properly; all your profiles will continue to exist independently of each other. One resulting quirk (amongst others) is not being able to see/manage another current account's card.
You'll need to re-register the app (Device settings > Forget enrolment), using your original profile. You could also try contacting TSB to see if their 'wizards' can do any better, but their systems are obviously held together with tape and glue.0 -
As above, I needed to contact TSB, as the new accounts merged to the old profile, but not the debit cards.
Turns out there was a minor mismatch on details between old and new profiles.
Once they resolved this, the profiles merged successfully. Be aware though this takes upto 10 days, and for a day or two some details are in limbo in the app/online banking (e.g. new profile stopped working, before debit card moved to old profile).1 -
If I login to web using joebloggs002 i can manage the debit card for that account. i.e. I click 'Manage Cards' and have option to report card lost or stolen, cancel card, request new card, request new pin.AmityNeon said:When applying for new accounts you do have to create additional online banking profiles, but TSB doesn't merge them properly; all your profiles will continue to exist independently of each other. tried the forget enrolment suggestion for App. Unfortunately, it was a no go. still cannot use the app to manage either of the cards.
Was there anything else that was out of the ordinary or was it only the 'manage cards' feature? I've not noticed anything else. As i said above, I can even manage debit card for 2nd account via the website. Don't know if I can do the same for that card if I login to the App with that profile. Not tried it yet.k_man said:As above, I needed to contact TSB, as the new accounts merged to the old profile, but not the debit cards.

By the way, does the 'manage cards' feature on the App have more options than the website or are they the same (i.e. report card lost or stolen, cancel card, request new card, request new pin). I only ask because I've used some banking Apps that allow a 'freeze card' feature. Wondering if the TSB app has same or similar.0 -
My issue was only that some Debit cards were missing from Manage Cards.OceanSound said:

At that stage I only had one profile/login, so couldn't manage the other cards by logging in with other usernames.
The App has the Freeze card option which is not available on the website (which was the feature I was looking for, to freeze cards for non main accounts), but unfortunately (IMO) no view card details option.

That would've been really handy. Tends to be offered by most financial institutions these days (Lloyds app has it, so does Wise, so does Chase).k_man said:

when I logged on to TSB online banking (on Laptop web browser) with joebloggs002, and select 'Manage Cards', I could see the last 4 digits of the Debit card. That's it. At least something I suppose.
Don't know if similar appears on TSB banking app too.0 -
Full card details are not shown in the app. Only the last 4 digits, to help identify the card I assume.OceanSound said:

LOL. You already mentioned this in previous post! That's how come I said most financial institutions offer that feature nowadays.k_man said:

I was just wondering if the last 4 digits appeared within the App also. Same as it did on the web.
Anyway, thanks for confirming.0
