How to unsubscribe?

Is there a way to unsubscribe from certain threads?

I posted one the other day and got my answer quick enough, but it's turned into 6+ pages of people debating and I'm getting bombarded with emails about it.

I can't find any settings to unsubscribe from it?

Thanks but doesnt that mean I need to disable email notifications for all threads?

If you click on your bookmarks you will see the threads that you are subscribed to and get email notifications for. Click on the threads that you no longer wish to be subscribed to. At the top of that thread just click the bookmark symbol so that it is just an outline and it will unsubscribe you so that you will get no notifications on here or email notifications

But, sadly, if you haven't bookmarked the threads, but have commented on them, there is no way of stopping the annoying notifications when you are logged into here

There is, another user pointed me to it.  Turn off the option of notifications for threads you've replied to.  Then manually bookmark a thread when you reply, if you want notifications.  Then later you can unbookmark it.  It's saved my sanity here!
