Looks fine.  You didn't need to show us the later paragraphs template wording though!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As @Coupon-mad writes, do not try to use the MCOL defence box to file your defence, send it as an e-mail as per the instructions in the template defence thread.

    Thank you all.
I had read that the response needs to be emailed.
I received an acknowledgement almost immediately via email and yesterday received a letter from County Court BC acknowledging my defence and a copy being sent to the claimant.

Perfect, just as it should be; I love it when a plan comes together!

OK, So today 12/03/2023 I received a Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small claims Track dated 8th March 2023.
I will respond as outlined in the Newbies threads.
I am surprised it took this long to come to be fair.

Is there a date for the hearing or is it just to say that a date will follow? Have you received a DQ (N180) and did you complete it and return it to CCBC?

    It is:
Front page Notice of Proposed Allocation to the small claims Track (I have seen examples of this on here)
    DQ N180
    EX730 Mediation

You will be completing and returning the DQ then and saying NO to mediation.
