Good for us locals to know where OPS have been apparently removed from.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

New one on me but very happy if these ex-clamper bullyboys have gone.cevixy said:Malvern House, Westbrooke, in the town centre.
Residents will be so much happier, as long as the freeholder isn't bringing in UKCPM (no better). That place doesn't need a PPC and won't get 'abused' by hordes of marauding 'rogue drivers' because in most places that's just hot air by PPCs trying to justify their own infestation of residential sites.PRIVATE 'PCN'? I am surprised there is a company covering that car park. It is tiny and never used. I have never seen it even half full. Most of the tickets were issued in the early hours of the morning (between midnight and 1am) so they can't have been trying to prevent shoppers or office workers using it.1

Sadly the residents aren't safe any more! OPS were just ordering new signs (so clearly the points in the appeal were correct). It makes me happy that the tickets they issued actually ended up costing THEM money. And that is thanks to this forum.Coupon-mad said:

I still find it ridiculous that such a tiny and little-used car park (most residents don't own cars) even warrants a PPC. But I guess where there's money to be made...

How are visitors and one-off delivery drivers supposed to magically arrive with a permit?
By the time you've gone up to a flat and the resident has found a visitor permit, you'd have a PCN, as would every delivery driver leaving their van to take a parcel inside.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I like the line they have on that gate post sign you have shown us...

Professionally managed... Hahaha.2 -
Indeed. So professional that their previous signs weren't legal!
And a cynic might say the new signs are deliberately worded to catch people out...1
