Indeed. It is literally hidden! Why place it on that pillar, and not the facing one?KeithP said:

That shows us how devious the Claimant is.
Purposefully affixing the car park entrance sign to a face of the gate pillar so that it is impossible to be seen by the driver of an approaching vehicle.0 -

That's easily answered.
If they made the signs more obvious, they wouldn't be able to snare so many people in their trap.

Thank you, looking it up, it seems like you are right and that does not apply. I will remove point 2.1

No, you mean it was POFA? You checked? The NEWBIES thread tells you how.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for checking. I looked at the letter and it does state that after 29 days, if they do not know the name of the driver and the parking charge has not been paid in full, they have the right to recover it from the keeper, sadly.Coupon-mad said:No, you mean it was POFA? Thank you SO much for all your help. The parking company withdrew all five appeals and the matter is settled!
Interestingly I filed my POPLA appeals on Wednesday, and today I noticed that all the signs in the car park have been removed. I have no idea what grounds they decided not to bother pursuing on, but I wonder whether it was the lack of marked bays.
I am glad it is over, but still angry it had to go this far and waste so much time and cause so much stress. If it wasn't for the help you all gave me here, I am sure I would still be fighting them, so I am extremely appreciative.

Great stuff!
And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.
This is your only chance to change the law. The charges should start at £40 or £50 in most cases and there MUST be a ban on the false added 'fees' that would shortly have been layered on top (£70 x 5) if you hadn't got these cancelled.
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Public Consultation.
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
Then join us when the Consultation opens in a few weeks.

Thank you - I will be more than happy to. I noted on someone else's signature that Watchdog were looking for stories so have already emailed them. Anything that stops these companies bullying and taking money from more people.1
