I'll rush and renew mine just now, just in case there's still a few points in it.

EDIT: Yay, 25 points.

I couldn't get Steam to work as it required me to make a purchase.

In the 25 years it's been running you've never bought a game from Steam?

That's quite sad.

Not everyone plays computer games. I've installed plenty of apps (with no intention of using them) in order to receive some reward or benefit.

I've never made a purchase on my Steam account, but I did download a couple of free games in the past. That was good enough apparently.

Steam didn't require me to make a purchase. I tried to download a free game, but it didn't work. Or may be the game was downloaded, but I couldn't work out how to open it, can't remember exactly what happened. Somehow a cat appeared on my desktop counting every character I type, had to google how to get rid of the cat😀 I got points for it though. Not sure for which part - signing up, downloading free game or hosting a cat?

I'm still entitled for 1 renewal, after that I'll delete the app and my account.

Tried to make an account with Steam to see if I could bank some extra points… what a piece of s**** this platform is. Downloaded 2 games but no points, apparently no history.

I was cordially invited to verify my account today. I think I'll pass.
