Hi,
I am looking to gain more knowledge on index funds for beginners. I need help with maybe a book, person or tutorial video. I need to start at the beginning and gain some knowledge on the matter. I have watched a video by MARK TILBUSY — This Is How To Become A Millionaire: Index Fund Investing for Beginners. last night. I was wondering if there is something more useful or a better starting point. Any tips, advice and help would be grately received. Many thanks.

Two books I would suggest reading are
Smarter Investing by Tim Hale
and
Investing Demystified by Lars Kroijer

I find Mark Tilbury annoying I cant take him seriously.I do believe if you pay enough in over a long enough period it does grow with time and compounding does really start to show gains I have seen that myself, the difficult thing is not reacting(selling) to news and YouTubers talking crashes, they know no more than the rest of us.
I use Vanguard, I do hold some Berkshire though which is a contradiction of Indexing.I do like James Shack and Chris Bourne they seem to stick to facts that’s my personal opinion though.1
