I only ever get 70% rather than 80%, and it seems like it doesn't get applied to BIN, but it's back for me as well this weekend.
    Mortgage start date: 01/10/2021
    Original mortgage debt:
    £128,000
    Remaining debt (05/07/2025):
    £82,885
    Daily interest: £2.79
Mortgage debt end of 2023: £101,528 | Mortgage debt end of 2024: £88,876

It does also apply to BIN as that's the only way I list these days... :)

    Specific information about this Promotion

    What's it all about?

    • Get 70% off variable percentage final value fees ("FVF") per listing in final value fees if the item sells and pay no insertion fee.
    • A fixed order level fee of 30p and other fees, including any International fees, still apply.
    • Promotion is valid for up to 100 listings on eBay.
    • Listings must start during the promotional period.
    • Listings can be auction-style or fixed price format.
    • The promotion start and end dates are included in the email we send to invited sellers.
    • Items must sell within the first listing period.

If it doesn't sell within the requisite number of days then I just remove listings & await the next discounted offer

    Hope that helps

Sure, that's what it says, but last time I listed something at £16 BIN during a 70% off fees period, I got £13.65 paid out.

There are other requirements so you might want to check that you were fully compliant as BINs are definitely included. For instance , if you list in two categories then you don’t get the offer, or the common one is that you list as auction with a BIN option . EDITED AS ERROR IN ORIGINAL COMMENT

You can see the fee breakdown if you expand your payment tab.

My mistake, I meant to say auction with a BIN option, no idea why I typed what I did!

Yes a BIN with best offer is included. It is however always worth checking the T and Cs as they can vary between offers and even the user where they are sent.

The easy way to check if your item is within the offer is to see how many available listings you have left on the offer, list your item and the available number should go down.

Some of the things people tend to overlook within the t and cs is things like no MVLs , no second categories , BIns only get the offer until they automatically renew after the month etc.

Well it looks like I'm on the eBay naughty step, as no 70% FVF Offer for me this weekend. Have less than 40 items currently for sale, mostly £2 - £3 items. I did have a few very good big item sales earlier this month though, so I suspect it's on value.

If I call the Helpline, is there any likelihood they'll override it and add the promotion ? Have some items saved in Drafts, but would only list with reduced FVFs.

I’ve never known it to be over ridden by a phone call. Have you definitely checked your seller hub as I often get emails etc well after the offer starts but it always shows in the hub.

Other than that , just check you haven’t slipped below average.

  • I never get any emails from eBay any more, but when I go to the seller hub the offer is there and I can activate it.....
I also check the number of FVF offer listings has gone down after I have added my listings, just in case!

Thanks for reply - Checked Seller Hub, and not there either. Just the past promos. I'm above Standard for Past, Present and Predicted ratings. It's just odd, and doesn't help eBay, as they're only getting commissions on sales. If the item is sitting in Drafts, they're not unfortunately earning.
