Car rental recommendations - Mallorca

Evening all.

Have booked 10 days in Mallorca in June, and am looking to price up car hire.

Any and all experience - good and bad - gratefully received.

The quickest Google tells me to avoid Goldcar...

When we've hired a car previously, in Cyprus, it's been the small operations - the ones used by folk with villas out there, who are over several times a year, and who have the inside scoop - that we've used. The equivalent for Mallorca would be great.

The TripAdvisor Mallorca forums will be a good place to look for recommendations Majorca Forum Search - Tripadvisor

Names that crop up quite often as recommended are Vanrell, Terrys, Roig, Wiber, Hiper. Seem to be local operators who offer all inclusive rentals without hard sells or trying to shaft people.

If it's a choice of Goldcar or walking, then walk!
