Our kid likes to go to Switzerland
He currently pays Three a fiver a month for 1GB data, U/L minutes and texts including Go Roam SIM only
Three want to put it up to £8 and charge £2 per day to go roam
I just had a quick look on O2 and they offer 1GB data etc for £12
Is there anything better with decent C/S

A simple search on Uswitch will get you 4GB data on O2 for £6. Other data allowances are available.

Prices will increase by RPI plus 3.9% in April.

Are they the ones with awful customer service?

If he got a new PAYG sim from 3, he wouldn’t be charged the daily charge for go roam. Details here: https://www.three.co.uk/go-roam

Thanks, but PAYG isn't really for him - it has to be hassle free, and he needs to keep his existing number
  • You can transfer your number to a PAYG SIM and auto-topup is pretty hassle free.

    Lebara generally get good reviews.
Lyca are the ones who get the complaints.
