Thats 50mm wide. Unlikely to fit through the ops pipe.

My guess is a stone or something like that jammed in the corner. Best direction to try to dislodge from would be where the water should exit.
Agree with thisisweird you need to put something over the drain hole to stop bigger bit of debris getting in there in future.YNWA
