Not good news - we've had a letter from DCB Legal saying the client intends to proceed with the claim.
Do we still have a chance of winning this case? I was hoping it would get dropped!
They mention mediation, maybe I should offer to pay the original fine ammount?
Kind regards, and thanks again for all your help,

You were expecting that weren't you?laurence_pkns said:Not good news - we've had a letter from DCB Legal saying the client intends to proceed with the claim.
Item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence says...Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list may well be worth another read.

Right you are. I need to refresh my memory on these steps, and relax! Thanks KeithP.0

@laurence_pkns surely you do not want to become one of the 1% who loses and end up funding these scammers? Surely you are aware that 99% of the claims advised on here, win or are discontinued before reaching court. The 1% that lose are invariably due to the victims not following the advice and haven't even bothered to properly read, re-read and read again the Newbies thread or are just too gullible and poop their pants at the thought of actually putting in a bit of effort to get these scammers off their backs.laurence_pkns said:Not good news - we've had a letter from DCB Legal saying the client intends to proceed with the claim.

Also, you are assuming far too much about these bottom-dwelling PPCs by referring to your disputed debt from an invoice they raised by calling it a "fine". Go look at all your paperwork from these low lives and show us where the word "fine" is used. Only courts or authorities etc. can issue "fines". Your reference to your "fine" just shows how cowed the general public is by the scamming PPCs.
As for winning the case? Of course you have an excellent chance of winning, especially as it is one of DCB Legal's pathetic attempts to resurrect old PCNs. Just follow all the advice and information in the Newbies thread and also have a look at this thread to see the expected outcome of a well defended DCB Legal claim:DCB LEGAL RECORD OF PRIVATE PARKING COURT CLAIM DISCONTINUATIONS
