AOS is completed!!!
Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for looking out. I filled out the AOS earlier today and asked her to confirm before we sent it. Got it in before 12pm.
So now a little breather and straight onto the SAR, then defence.
I think we're on track now. What is the prevailing opinion on SAR format?
Thanks again

Not drafted the defence yet, all we've done so far is AOS.Coupon-mad said:As I say, she wasn't the driver but I presume it's too late to challenge that at this stage? You didn't show us the defence draft first...of course she should have stated she was not the driver, in paragraph 2 (as explained in the template defence thread). Hopefully she did?
Did she get a CCBC auto-acknowledgement?
Do whatever she likes for.the SAR. It's something and nothing compared to the defence.
Is a SAR worth completing in this case?1 -
Always. Just no need to stress about some random template. It's just a SAR!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Here is a template you can use for your SAR. Just don't forget to change all the text that is struck through to your relevant details.

Hi all,
We have drafted my partner's defence sections 2 and 3. The rest of the template has been left unchanged except for the first page (defendant / claimant) and last page (signature). Does this look OK? If so, we will submit today in working hours. The facts as known to the Defendant:2. It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper and driver of the vehicle in question.3. The defendant parked the vehicle in question in the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre car park on 21/12/2021, and spent around an hour shopping in the centre.Immediately afterwards, the defendant used cash to pay for the parking at the automated machine. The defendant then drove to the car park exit, where the barrier raised through which the defendant left the car park.0 -
You need to number every paragraph. You might want to edit that "you paid cash for the amount that the PDT/automated machine requested".2
-
The facts as known to the Defendant:
2. It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper and driver of the vehicle in question.
3. The defendant parked the vehicle in question in the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre car park on 21/12/2021, and spent around an hour shopping in the centre. Immediately afterwards, the defendant used one of the automated parking machines and paid for the parking with cash in the amount requested by the machine. The defendant then drove to the car park exit, where the barrier raised, through which the defendant left the car park.

Thanks for the feedback Le_Kirk
Do I leave in (or delete) "The facts as known to the Defendant"?0 -
