VLC - dvd keeps stopping can't adjust file caching

I have 3.0.18 and it plays DVDs fine.If you think it is the update that broke it, go to the VLC download page, and use the Older Versions section to download the version that you know worked, then install it and don't let it update again.You might have autoupdates turned on and need to google where the switch is, mine has to beg to be updated and I usually click "update denied" if I'm desperate to watch something in case it breaksI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
