@Rumana03 the bus comment made me laugh! First time I used a bus in London I had no idea that’s how they work there and the driver was so annoyed at me, once he heard me speaking to say sorry (northern) he realised it was a genuine mistake haha

I went on the bus here and put my child onto there first. Next thing I know the bus driver is shouting at me "One minute please...one minute!!" because of course the passengers on the double decker bus have only that one door to exit by which is also the entrance door. It was totally embarrassing and everyone on the bus was staring at me.

Honestly I don't know how people manage living here...the traffic is a 100 times worse than London & it seems to be all day every day.

Funny old world, living in market town all my life, the only visit I have truly enjoyed in London was where we couldn’t sleep and wondered round looking at the sights between 1am and 3am…I just don’t understand why anyone would live there by choice…and as for planning routes that involve multiple buses and underground changes to get around, how much hassle is that….

You've mentioned why the positives aren't there / aren't as big as expected.
What are the actual negatives - why do you dislike the place? Perhaps working out how you can adjust the layout or make other changes to mitigate those would help.
Yes that sounds like a good plan.

I've lived and worked in London, the south east, the Midlands and fairly north. I love London for its variety and flexibility and I love the countryside in the middle and north. It's 50/50 for me I enjoy both.
