New customer deal when moving home with partner
Hi all.
So, I am looking to get a new broadband deal and just wanted to double check that I’m not doing anything wrong here, as I can’t think of any legit reason why this would not be allowed.
I have a virgin media account and broadband deal currently. This is completely in my name and my name only, payments and contract etc. My partner lives at my address with me, who is not a virgin customer. We are moving home soon and I plan to cancel my current virgin contract and my partner will be setting up a new account (in their name only) as a first-time customer, hence getting the better prices for new customers only.
Just wanted to check that there are no rules being broken here at all. I do not trust any customer service reps as far as I could throw any of them which is why I’m asking here and not going to virgin media direct.
Thanks for any advice.
