There wouldn't be banner headlines about this niche area on MSE because any banners would appear on EVERY board.  MSE forum is absolutely massive with hundreds of general moneysaving subjects covered.

I'm sure non-driving readers of Competition Time or home baking or 'make do and mend' threads don't want to see a banner about the Parking Code of Practice!

Read my summary there to know what stalled the good work.  Then please stick around this month as we will be ALL OVER IT when the DLUHC resurrect it.

I'm the only consumer (non-company) individual representative on the DLUHC Steering Group so my finger is on the pulse with a direct email contact to the Govt team handling it.  I know the reasons for the temporary withdrawal of the Code and what's happened since. Hence why we are all anticipating the promised update in July...

This part is interesting and could be useful to people not yet in-the-know. Thank you. Keep up the sterling work.

Edit: Sorry but - could you, or someone, just paste a link to the relevant bit. I think an awful lot of people coming on here quickly lose the will to live when faced with ream after ream of reading - only to find that what they thought was useful is now out of date.
