Saw through the plastic hinge on one side, then the seat will slide off. Next undo those grub screws and remove the metal hinge part. There 100% will be holes under them.if the mateal hinges are stuck try and turn them , might loosen enough to get a junior hacksaw under to saw through the bolts, or a multitool0

Won't that white cap prize off with a screw drive I can't see the reason it should be there, and that screw looks like a Torx to me

I suggest inside the other plastic part where you see the screw, is a peg of some sort that fits in the hole in the toilet pan, that screw is like a grub screw designed to keep everything in place0 -
