Sky Broadband package Hard credit check.

Hi everyone. 

Looking to hear from anyone who has applied for Sky broadband packages over the last two years who have poor credit. Were you rejected or asked to pay a deposit upfront? I have worked hard to build up my poor credit from terrible to fair. I need a package for bb asap, but am reluctant to apply to Sky if they are likely to reject as I don't want it to negatively affect my credit at this point. Really interested to hear from recent applications in the same circumstances as me. If rejected, is a bb utility bill likely to have a significant impact on credit score? Plenty of non credit check broadband providers around.   Even though most internet providers run credit checks on customers, a bad credit score shouldn’t normally stop you from signing up.
