Without specifying, house location, type, orientation, solar gain factors, age of house, heating system and age, improvements over original construction, EPC, sq m/ft of house and whether home all day or heated around work schedule and many many more the figures are useless. Most important because people often bend the truth online...... proof of energy usage. Very few backup their usage with proof so take it with a pinch of salt.

Here are our useless figures 4/5 detached house in East Anglia, ASHP electricity only solar gain all round except smallest north face aspect, 7 years old, EPC high B 6234kWh. Home 24/7 heating on 24/7 to 20-22oC downstairs and 20oC upstairs. (Ignore the spend figure below you cant change it in loop from the government EPG rates our real cost for the year was £1592.07 or £132.67 a month. Adding in the discount of £200 received (3 months of the £400) actual cost this year was £1392.07 or £116 so thankyou to the government for that. (Please note Jan-Mar paying 21p kWh then onward 29.239pkwh

Energy Used Electricity only. Hoping to get down to 6000 kWh a year. 2022 worked out at 6234 kWh a year in a 4/5 bedroom detached house EPC high B. Designed not retro-fitted ASHP Mitsubishi Ecodan, under floor heating ground floor, radiators 1st floor. Multi-fuel burner in lounge.

    Thanks!
That electric car for 2 months makes the figures for 2022 useless

Not too far from you, but with a late 1920s 3 bed semi (unknown EPC rating). Gas 4200KWh, electricity 2010KWh.
Get a fair amount of solar gain when the sun shines, and also have a multifuel stove in the lounge. Used about 75Kg of coal so far this winter plus a few logs.

here's us and compared to last year. the spike in april was the building work for the new bathroom i think. and december increased gas use is the MIL staying with us. doesn't show the logs we've used (about 2cubic meters worth)

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Not really a survey at all. Where are the results going to be published and how and used?

Is your data from an app please @ariarnia?

I have years of usage data in excel, but wouldn't mind having a handy comparison tool on my tablet.
I use BrightApp already, so happy to import my data into another app.
