Morning I did make the gym last night it was hard but the person who is making the rings cancelled so I could just go up before the class. I am now on 12 so doing 1 today and 1 tomorrow night and then Monday will see me get 15 in total which is the free spa pass.
My back is quite stiff so that is really annoying but it is not as painful as Tuesday when I had first done the gardening. Today is a lovely sunny day wish it was today we were getting the photos done. He did say he would see what he can do but it might have to wait DG gets back although I do not trust her to take everything away that needs taking away.
I had my Pension Wise appointment yesterday it was really good and really helpful. I have some point I now need to look into in particular switching the pension to an international one could still be a good call. He pointed me to a website via MoneyHelper that has details of IFA's who does this and Money Helper also has a phone line where you can get more guidance on this. He could not give advice but I am 100% certain the 25% tax free is the right way to go and then draw down. There are no real pitfalls but you do have to take everything out and then ask the pension company to reinvest it all again. You are also allowed to take £500 for 3 years tax free from your pension so pay for advice so that could be hand for this cost too. Taking the £25% out I need to ask my pension company about timescales for this but as we know they are useless at talking to you so might wait until I potentially find someone to advice me. He thought I could get it cheaper than the £10K I had been quoted.
I have now taken on a another project for when I get back from leave so that is quite cool. I will pick up more work but that has not yet come in so I wont know what I get.
No spends yesterday but we got food delivered with all the stuff to take to the family so that was handy. Also my friend has got us much further with the forms for the land registry so I just need to work out what the fee is and get it witnessed then it can go off which is very exciting.
Got 4 meetings today plus gym plus taking the cats to the vets really crammed everything in for sure,

Yikes got a call this evening we have a viewing Saturday. Someone they know well and think it could be perfect for. I’ve said yes but we’re not moving early although sticking the money in the bank would generate enough to pay for any rental.Hopefully the photos will be done tomorrow if not who knows. DG is having to work Saturday and is stressed about work. I’m just house stressed.Hopefully I can relax a little this evening.Save £12k in 25 No 49

DG has been at work since 6am she has issues with 1 clients she has worked with for 2 years. Problem is that her clients are very vulnerable so there will be mental health issues and they can some time become quite unstable.
She does always get like this before we go on leave as when you are self employed you have to get everything together before you leave.
We did go to Lidl last night £46 spent incl a bottle of Vodka for our house sitters. Got my free bread and I am now £10 from the next freebie.
Took money for the small cars MOT and service as well as the parking and paid off my credit card. I will pay for the Civil Ceremony fees as the joint account cannot really afford that.
I was thinking what if the house did sell to these first people then we would definitely have to move into rental. However if you could stick the money into a savings account at 5% say that would pay a fair chunk towards the rental. I did look at rental there really are not many and I would not want to move too far away from the golf club even though we work from home need the gym as well. Anyway this may not happen so it is not a concern right now.
We have our haircuts today so lots of work needs to be done. I might also have to work on Saturday at this rate. Breakfast first boiled egg and free bread courtesy of Lidl.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning I am still in my PJs and DG is asleep but I just could not lie in bed thinking of all the things I needed to do. I had forgotten an attachment so someone email about that just now so that was another reason to log on.
Got my haircut and highlights yesterday £80 which is so much cheaper than London and I think also Denmark so I might have to come back for those lol.
Got some sausage rolls (£250) at the supermarket which I shared with DG so we did not need to buy dinner at the golf club. We just went in the steam room and "cheated" our way to another stamp so I am now on 14 she is on 13 so should get it next week.
We then went to Lidl got my freebie and put the rest on DGs card so £20 spent on dinner which was much cheaper than going to eat the Club.
Watched telly really tired yesterday. Today is the viewing and DG wants to work so I have done some bits in the garden as it looks like it might be sunny so want the pool to look good.
DG wants to watch the England game tomorrow in a pub as it will be dead at the club (they predict) I am less keen it is a work night and we don't seem to have taxies around here so hard to get home if we go too far afield. She is super keen though so feel mean saying no.
We also have golf tomorrow and meeting the person who is going to make our rings. I also need to pack but that will be after the viewing as I am not sure I will fit it in otherwise.
Almost forgot DG has been offer a job the one she previously did 3 days a week that involved the travel she did not like but was otherwise ok. She can start immediately but is going to wait until we are back. That job if it is a the same rate should pay for her bills plus a bit of spending money and she can then save up her big slow cases. She can drop the quick ones which was causing lots of hassle. We can still do the joint plan in Denmark with me supporting her to do the quick work but it means getting our marketing right and instead of paying 50% we only have to pay 25%. DG sounds a lot happier about this so that is quite handy too.

Viewing was pretty painless but wont get feedback until Monday. They did stay for 45 min but the estate agent had no time to take pictures so that will now most likely have to wait until we are back. I do not really mind to be honest I cannot fit any more in.
We decided only to play 9 holes (actually both played well) so we could meet with the lady with the rings. I am very excited about them. She is only charging £60 to make each ring which seems so reasonable. I did not realise but many of the ladies are getting rings made so saw some of her work really nice. I am having yellow gold plated in white gold and dg rose gold. We are also having 4 diamonds. Will be interesting to see what it looks like we are getting the final quote first.
We had a cheap round of drinks at the club as DG got her free coffee which I had and a coke she paid for. Then they delivered our order again so we could give the coffee to the lady that is making the rings.
Home now and we are going back to the club to watch the football seems there might be more people going as it seems all the local pubs are booked up so would not have been able to get in anyway. If nothing else we can watch the game with the staff which will be fine lol. They have about 6 tellies so should be able to see the game and sit in comfort. We will eat up there as a treat too.
I have not done any packing but I have put a wash on and Dg is working. I need to to take out £100 from the joint account to pay for the hot tub stuff we bought last month when we thought it was broken. That will clear a bit of the 0% credit card.
We had a message from Vig*n that our box was not working right so we reset it but that did not work so an engineer is coming out tomorrow. I cannot believe I have added more stuff for tomorrow that is gym, EPC, leg wax and now the engineer. Obviously also go to work.
I think that is it off to chill now and maybe look at packing the joys.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks SavingHolmes it certainly is.
Shame about the football it was actually quite nice to watch it at the club we met a new couple and I think DG enjoyed being out watching it even if it was not in a pub as she really wanted. Spent £40 on food and drink at the club but the food was lovely and DG drove home so I could have a drink which was nice.
I also spent £25 on a new dress on Vinted it is Long Tall Sally never been worn my size and cream lace but just above the knees. I think it would work for the Civil Ceremony especially if I get a wrap or shawl or something that would tie in colourwise with what DG is wearing. She is unlikely to go cream more likely rose or pale pink.
Going up to London tomorrow meeting in person with someone before my meeting. The day will be hectic but at least only 1/2 work. I will make sure I pack tonight so that is out of the day.
Really looking forward to seeing the family just need to get everything done now if not it will just have to wait until after we come back.
Off to the gym now so catch up later.
QUick update back from the gym and now have our free pass. Only just discovered that you have until the 31st Aug to reclaim it that does seem really mean that its a month. DG suggested we ask if they will let us redeem it in September saying we wanted to treat our bridesmaids to a spa day after our wedding. They might go with that it is only 3 weeks later. EPC done really painless but we won’t get photos until the Saturday I’m back as I want to be there. The viewers from Saturday said it was too small downstairs for their way of living. Notting else bad so that’s kind of nice. We can’t extend out due to the garden layout but the large sofas does make the downstairs look smaller than it is.On the train to London for work. Already had my phone not charge and the ticket machine not working so waiting for the third thing now. Not losing my bag lol. At least I can charge in the train.Friends are coming tonight to cat sit no idea when but hopefully they will let us know when they leave. Hopefully not take long to pack as I’ll be home at 7pm tonight.I do look forward to some time off I feel my head is just not in my work at the moment.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Wow you are so busy. Think you need some downtime !Let’s hope the first offer takes a Few weeks so you are not rushing to move outDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
