What a hectic morning already Dg forgot to take the car for its MOT last night so had to do it this morning before the opened. The road work is back to 1 lane which is chaos so we had to go the long way around again 6 miles instead of 2 but at least we knew how long it would take. Cancelled gym at 11 as I have a meeting that finish at 10.45 so no way would we get there with the traffic. It is a shame as I cannot go tomorrow or Monday as I am away. I have got 8 stamps still need 6 more to get the free spa pass.
I did spend yesterday on Amazon for materials to get the house ready to list but I think that is fine about £40. I also managed to get a return label for 2 of the 4 filters we bought. That is about £60 returned to us which will helped.
The hot tub is fixed it was the heating pump that had gone so glad it happened in the warranty so it was free. The warranty is £45 a month so I do not think we will take that out.

Loving the silicon tip that encourages ice cream !You sound busy - still good to have a planDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Yes they are we are now hooked on those mini twisters only 39 calories and such a nice treat. The silicone is clear not white so had to buy one it was only £3.36.
Been up since 6.30 but all we have done is walked the dogs and had breakfast boiled egg and 1 small slice of bread. We have actually been doing really well with the diet this week cut right down on carbs from bread, potatoes and rice but still having some sugar. I feel better for it as well even though I have only been to two classes this week but that is down to me stubbing my toe on Monday and I can only hobble around.
I have two meetings today so not too bad but DG wants to get into town and get some vape stuff. I am happy as I get to go to Costa and use one of my 3 gift cards for a coffee.
This time last year we were in Denmark at my nephews a level graduation. That is when we decided to move to Denmark in the next 3 to 4 years. Well here we are with a 1+ year plan now so I recon once we do get to move it will have been a 2 and a bit year plan but I think that is fine.
Spoke to a couple of people this week about the situation at work. They all seem to be looking at an exit strategy as well. Most have been there a long time so they will get really good redundancy pay. I am sure they will need some of us but we shall see I still want to move.
I spoke to another colleague who has just had a disk explode in her lower back. She was telling me they cannot do very much as it is so low down but you can get injections. They last about 1 year if you are lucky or they may not work. They are not on the NHS and cost £7K. She is looking at having an op on her neck. That can be done on the NHS but they use really hard materials which is cheaper so if you want the softer version that allows you to move more than you have to pay £20K. I am sorry but that sounds like we are moving towards having a poor man's NHS you only use for basic stuff and then everyone else who can have to pay privately. No thank you that does not sound good to me another reason to move actually.
Anyway enough moaning about the state of this country best do some work.

Thanks Daisy and Savingholmes the ice cream stick worked I’ve finished the front door. DG has also made a list of getting the stuff done before photos so there is a plan.Saturday was quite chilled walked the dogs watched Denmark lose which was expected but boring with all the VAR stuff. Sort still going well which I’m pleased about. Got some stuff for the house in B&M so have all the materials to do the work. Have had to take money from our joint fun fund we save £300 each month. DG also paid me the £1200 she owed me so that’s great. I’ve put £600 towards the % credit card and the rest is saved for paying the other credit card. We’ve had to put the service and MoT on the cc and the final registrar bill for the civil partnership. I’m going to pay that as there’s just no money in the joint funds for that. Next months we’re away for two weeks so food will be minimal and we can use my Danish money for spending over there. I would like proper lots for everything but just not possible right now. The car insurances will also be due soon.On the train travelling for work meeting a colleague there so nice dinner tonight.TO DO
