Oh my gosh - shocked to hear about the website scam 😮 I'm not even sure I would consider it could be a scam once they'd actually set it up. Sending hugs.

I looked into that a few years ago, but concluded it was more expensive to make your own as plain flour and SR flour are the same price, but baking powder is more expensive.

I'm a bit fussy & was keeping an open bag of each & a full bag of each. Cutting down to just plain saved a lot of space.

Thanks QueenJess and badmemory I get both points and thanks for the reminder that I can make it here if I find a recipe that calls for it. It is quite nice here you can always buy fresh yeast in the supermarket something I really missed when I first moved to England and baked a lot then I got used to the dried stuff.
Website is back and I am really not quite sure what the scam is but they are not doing what we paid for that is for sure. We paid for 5 years hosting and domain name so they clearly only paid for 1. They claimed they transferred it to our own names back in May which would have been fine as this would not have happened. The good thing is that it is only £12 a year so I will push for it in our name or get the provider (which is not a scam company to transfer it to us). I have already started that process. When the website goes your emails goes as well and I could not do any marketing yesterday. We are finally making traction with 10,000 views from one local group so really annoying but not worth the risk when the site and email was down. I have asked for a back up of the site which means we can recreate it with the hosting service (not a scam) and then we are away from them. They they continue to host for another few years then obviously we save that money. They have also been helpful every time we have had an issue so it is weird this happened.
Funny thing searching for information about the company and them being a scam it keeps coming up with they have a Liverpool address but they are not registered in the UK. Yes we should have checked that out but I am actually not that fussed now that we have paid and the site is running.
The hassle with that knocked my whole day out and I got very little done. My sister is coming over today as she has a local physio app so not worth going home before going to work. I love seeing her so that is great but it means no work again and I have golf this evening.
We went to practise yesterday and as per usual (back in the UK) DG was not happy with her shots so she cancelled todays game. So annoying and she is not going to Jumping on her own either. I do despair sometimes but the website really freaked us both out.
The guy about filling the ditch has been in touch and he will send a quote today so that is super quick. They are still working next door so makes sense to do it soon.
I need to get on with work, dishwasher is emptied and the washing hung out so that is a good start.

Hey I am back been a busy one but we have website and email all sorted and being transferred to us so no further hassle with the annual renewal we can sort that now ourselves. Not sure what happened and i am not trusting them again but they had up to that point been faultless and helpful.
We got DG registered in Denmark yesterday it was a breeze but a few hairy moments prepping for it. I might have relied too much on AI but we got there in the end. We had a nice wonder around town afterwards and saw the birthplace of HC Andersen. We did not go in as you should really see both museums together and there is a nice discount if you do you basically get the birthplace for free so that is for another day.
Parking is £2 an hour but was easy and there is a nice tram system which we might look at next time. It is Denmark's 3rd largest city so yes a city but nice centre with pedestrian access only and lots of bars and restaurants a lot which was not open at lunchtime.
I have also had the quote for the filling of the ditch it was less than I thought so given the go ahead for that hopefully soon but I said no rush as they are working next door still so think they might do them while still there.
This weekend we have a golf game Saturday but as I played badly on Tuesday I am a bit unexcited about that. It is only 9 holes as we are not fit enough yet. I did enjoy the company on Tuesday and there was lots of ladies it was quite nice.
I have priced up the trip for July it is £100 more to take the car as the airplane tickets has gone up stupidly so we are just holding off for a bit and then look to book.
Today I have tons to do especially lots of work on the marketing so we are ready for Monday when we can post again.
We also need a new bank account for DG and i have been unhappy with mine for ages so looking at an online only sounds a bit like Monzo so I will sign up for the free one and then Dg can get one once her registration is on order.

Morning hope you all had a good weekend we did it was nice and relaxed with a meal and movie in the pool bar and golf Saturday. Sunday we mainly chilled but I did also get a lot of gardening done.
This morning I have done all the social media we are trying something more personal so lets see if we get any takers. We could really do with some more customers so I can be a bit more busy and we could earn some money lol.
Today is actually quite busy as DG has her Danish lesson first one in I think 2 weeks because of Easter and she has been busy too. Then we have to go and register her at the Council which is a major step so nice to get that out of the way.
I have my colouring at the hairdressers tomorrow its not been done since Christmas. Then we have golf Tuesday and cinema Wednesday.
We did also get a bit more sorting done in the house and it is slowly starting to come together. I cleared out of table cloths I have always had loads and I am quite attached to them but now with the bigger table they just do not fit. I can sow so I can make myself some more but fabric is expensive and how many do you actually need. Plus I hate ironing. I am going to keep the ones that does not fit and see if I can make them into something else or maybe cut them down to fit on the garden table. I have yet to find something that works on the cube table without blowing away. Still it now means we can fit things properly in that cupboard and more has found proper spaces to live too. We have a lot of flags and things for birthday celebrations so it is now to have that in the lounge rather than needing to get it down from the loft each time.
Right best get cracking on this new week.

Could you make a tablecloth with seams down the edge ? Not 'could you' as in 'can you' - I know you are perfectly capable of 4 little seams 😆. Could you as in would that stop it blowing ? Being more fitted should anchor it rather than having the loose bits flapping might keep it on. Although if its too windy of course you won't be sitting out.
Or would using curtain weights in the seams do? I've never been sure if you can wash them as a tablecloth will need more washes than curtains.
I've also seen weighted clothes peg type things you just hang on the tablecloth edges if you need them but unpeg to fold the cloth away again or wash.

Thanks Daisy that was what I was thinking but if they go down too far and are sewn like a box that goes over the table it might be difficult to get under the table. If that makes any sense. We do usually use the weights to clip on but I find they still blow up and they are stone and the table glass so not a good combo. I think something like ties and a very shallow overhand might work. It is also very wide so hard to find the right thing. The best we ever had were a shower curtain from IKEA which was heavy and worked so well until our friend burnt a hole in it with a fag.
Had a look at the tax stuff as I have no income I cannot make use of the tax deduction for garden work as I have no income.

I got all my marketing stuff done and started on some of the tiles in the garden. Then it was time to get down to register DG at the local council. Well we were seen before time and it took minutes. She actually told us from what date we should put down for DG living here so that was fine too. We also go our Civil Partnership registered as it DG can then use my personal allowance and the deduction for garden work. All the cleaning of the tiles and the spraying of the roof can be deducted.
DG now has to sort her tax out which could be tricky and I do also need to work out about my pension. I got an answer back yesterday and I have already forgotten what it was about.
Anyway back to yesterday we had just had a late lunch when my phone goes. It is one of the ladies at the golf club asking if I can play in 1 1/2 hours instead of her as she had had a family bereavement. It was a singles match and not usually something I go but I said yes. It was 18 holes luckily it was a flat course and I drew the game which I was really pleased about. You had to wait for everyone to come in and then it was dinner at 9pm. It cost £12 for dinner and the game was free so very cheap and unexpected evening out. I am now part of the team so who knows if I get picked again. I wouldn't mind it was quite fun to start an 18 hole game at 4.45pm. The sun set just as we were leaving about 9.30pm that I do love about Denmark less so the frost we still had this morning.
Today I have my hairdresser appointment and then it is golf again. Only 9 holes which is just as well as our course is so hilly.
Tomorrow evening is more golf and then cinema on Thursday.
I should really do some more gardening but my body is aching. It is a lovely day so no excuse but I do need to be able to play later. Anyway enough waffle from me.
