If he is, then your children should be tested as it’s hereditary.  I am and so is my DS (who was diagnosed first, I was initially ok till 4 years ago when I suddenly wasnt !)

Funnily enough his dad had part of his stomach or digestive system removed before I met Mr SA, it was always brushed over and he passed away in the 1990s but of lung cancer. His mum died of stomach cancer after suffering tummy problems for years. His sister also has tummy problems. It would be great if we could finally find out what the problem is.

I'm pleased the test is relatively soon.  It will be good to start to get to understand what's causing these upsets.

Glad the test is booked, and hopefully you'll get some answers.

I'm probably telling you something that you are already aware of, but don't cut down on gluten before the blood test. The NHS recommends that gluten is eaten at least twice a day for 6 weeks before the blood test.

Thank you. He was told not to cut down. Funnily enough I was talking to someone at work who's a Coeliac and it was the first thing she said.

That's Thursday done. Worked in the office today but the majority of the day was spent at an event so I'm all peopled out and my feet are aching from standing for hours. I like talking but am exhausted from making small talk with people I don't know for over 3 hours.

On the plus side I've come back with 6 new pens 😁

I got Mr SA to meet me outside Lid! as I needed to get a fair bit of shopping. Picked up a bargain orange sticker 50% off 4 salmon portions. Had a free fruit item to pick up, it was either a 4 pack of avocados or a mango. There weren't any 4 packs of avocados so had to pick a mango. Every time I buy a fresh mango I vow never to buy one again - they are the devil's work and almost impossible to cut up without making a mess. Caved in as it was free 😐 Can you believe I'm just 67p away from the next free item milestone with only 2 days to go. I doubt very much I'll be in there again until Monday and not going miles out of my way for a free cereal item. I do have a coupon for free strawberries or raspberries to pick up next time though.

Received an email from Nwide to say I'm getting the £100 fairer share bonus 😁

Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and it's Zumba at 5.15 so will be well over 25,000 steps by the end of the day.

Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie chilli from freezer stocks with a baked sweet potato and salad.

I will be so glad to sit down with my feet up for an hour later!

I hate Mango as well, in fact I seem to be allergic to it, it always makes my throat itch, so I avoid it these days.

I also had the message about the NW £100, not sure if DH will get it as well, he has his own current account, as well as the joint account and savings account in both our names.  Think we will put it in the holiday pot as it was unexpected.
