Morning all, happy September. We’re having a great time although Mr SA is hard work constantly having to look after him. The scooter place have swapped his scooter for a more powerful one as the other one was struggling to get up the ramp into the hotel. He’s still having his afternoon nap so I get some respite for a couple of hours. The weather is lovely and not too hot. There’s a nice gentle breeze. Bumped into a woman I was talking to last year at the hotel and the chap who runs the hotel FB group arrives today so will get to meet him. This is our third stay here and you can she why people keep coming back. It’s a stone’s throw from the beach, the main strip and the airport. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, there’s no sunbed wars and the food and drinks are cheap but very high quality.Spoke to DD yesterday and the dog and cats are fine. The dog is always my big worry as I know she pines for us.We were out until midnight last night so not been awake long. Yes me who can’t keep her eyes open past 9pm at home 😆 Mr SA is still snoring his head off!
You’ll all be relieved to hear Mr SA finally got his beaded necklace 🥳 It was exactly what he wanted and only €4.
Payday yesterday not looked at the bank but got a happy payday message from my banking app so I know the money’s gone in.Today is the final payment of the additional borrowing part of the mortgage 🥳 The £100 a month overpayment will now be sent to the mortgage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

Sounds like a lovely place SA but shame you don't get a complete rest as you still have to look after Mr SA. No cooking or shopping at least though. Congrats on the last payment of additional borrowing and great you are sending it to the mortgage as an overpayment from now on.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
