Really enjoyable weekend, usual stuff and shopping on Saturday (and an afternoon snooze in the sunshine), then today was gardening, family breakfast, trip to the garden centre and another snooze in the sunshine!  There are a couple of plants I need to move as they are getting swamped by others, a quick job though so I can do that in the week.  It felt good to relax and enjoy the garden after all the hard work we've been doing - made me feel very thankful.  Then dinner was a five minute prep meal, finished off in the oven, with two portions in the freezer for next week.  Here's hoping that the week is as positive as the weekend

Not bad at all thank you savingholmes  and a pretty good Monday (would've been even better if there was no work - haha).  Did a bit of meditating when I started to get stressed, and I actually started yawning - feels like I am getting the hang of it.  I'm being firm, but fair and friendly - well it is Monday and there are a few days to go (just joking), I'm hopefully going to keep this up.

Very pleased to report that my mobile switch to Lebara for £1.99 a month has gone through smoothly and without a hitch, thanks MSE Martin.  £1.99 a month for 6 months, then up to normal price of £6.90, its more than double the data for half the price I was paying before.  Works on the Vdfone network too, so no change there.  I've also just received my £10 cashback for last month's spending on the NW card, and am looking forward to receiving the £100 bonus soon.  That will help towards paying for the garden spends - only one trip to the garden centre so far this month - it was starting to feel like a second home there last month.  I'm just about reaching garden saturation point but somehow everywhere I go I see plants I'd like to have.  Its been a good but busy week so far, and I managed to get a few chores done already.  I'm trying to do just one or two things each evening, that way the list will be crossed off before I know it.

Hi Sandy - with you on how easy it would be to get carried away in the garden.

Well done on the mobile switch. I need to make myself ring up about my BB as they just put the price up massively.

Hi Savings, we've stuck with BT for our BB, we're fully digital and have fantastic speeds and wouldn't want to change anything - but you never know.

Gardening is never ending, especially at this time of year.  I've bought another bag of compost and one of bark as I need to go around and top up.  Compost is always handy and I do have a spare plant pot which might need a plant to go with it :)  The good thing is that all is looking really good at the moment and we have flowers, bees, new leaves and even some fruit.

I do love watching wildlife in my garden - especially the bees and bumblebees

Its so peaceful savingholmes isn't it, love the little creatures busy working.

Busy day as usual on Saturday for both of us, then a bit later this afternoon we popped to the garden centre.  Nothing spent, but we are planning a largish spend in the garden - will have to wait and see, but it will definitely be the last large spend then (honest).

We made a lovely dinner and am now absolutely stuffed.  Early night for me I think.  Let's see what tomorrow bring weatherwise, had a bit of rain today but not any storms.

I'm not sure where today went.  Gardening until about 10.30 am, breakfast, lounging around, food shopping, more lounging, thinking about going for a walk, but actually more lounging, some work work, cooked dinner (well defrosted and reheated) and then TV.  Feels like I did quite a few things, just not very productive, but it was a bit too hot for walking so I'm going to forgive myself for the lack of exercise today.

It's been very hot and muggy today. Difficult to work for sure. I'm in the office tomorrow which has air con so could help.

Sounds like you had a lovely day.
