@foxgloves - I am amazed that you braved sandals today! We are very much more southernly than you are and not only did I have on a thin turtleneck and oversized comfy cardigan, my footwear consisted of socks and boots! I felt the warmth of the sunshine for about 5 minutes today through the car window and my jeans while we were driving through the New Forest but it was chilly at each and every stop we made throughout the day! Brrrrr!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!6

@rtandon27 - While I braved my sandals all day, I am now sitting with my feet on a hot water bottle, lol, so I think the chilly day had the last laugh. Have seen some 'summer boots' which I would like, but they're expensive. There's 'nice' & there's '£170 nice'.....defo haven't talked myself into them yet!

You’ll be back in your sandals next week as a mini heatwave is on the way apparently. I didn’t realise you could get summer boots 🤔I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I'm wearing two of my warmest winter jumpers today and I'm in London!8

I wore boots, thermals and 2 jumpers to work today in the not terribly sunny South WestAnd indulged in the heating on for an hour and a hot water bottle in the evening. I just couldn't get warm. The dog was obviously cold as well. He curled up on my lap next to the hot water bottle
(He is tiny and only weighs about 4.5 kg, so no risk to the hot water bottle, him or me).

@foxgloves M*S online sales are currently suspended so maybe that could be a good reason to ask for your points to be extended? Love Humdinger xx6

I must have ordered just before the cut-off. I actually ordered the same thing twice; once as a click and collect, for Monday, as I need to drop my bi-monthly box of toilet rolls off at the food-bank which is nearby. Then I read that their C&C was impacted, so I ordered again because in response to the cyber attack, they were offering free standard delivery, and I really want the item (extra long jeans - as rare as hen's teeth once the word gets out!). Then they suspended all ordering. I only want one, and will return the second to arrive (assuming they do) as one used my sparks offer for 20% off, it will be the delivered (more expensive one) that gets refunded. And if they cancel one, I shall call CS and request that they move the 20% off to the other order.
