I only buy big tubs of Greek style natural yogurt, which I like for breakfast with cereal and fruit. I have never really liked the flavoured ones.

I also like the set Greek yogurt as well as the Greek style and was reassured after looking into the Morries OB versions, which are what you would expect, ingredients wise.
Oh and by the way...

we've also spotted that about the big pots of yogurt, and it's affected our buying habits too, not least that we have been doing some yogurty research!
Big pots are now generally only bought on offer - it's still possible to pick them up from time to time for £1.25 or £1.50.
Both Al's and Lil's do delicious plain greek yogurt which can be tarted up with fruit or granola.
Similarly, both of those also do packs of (4) smaller fruit yogurts with MASSES of fruit in - I've tried the peach and apricot and raspberry variants from Al's recently and both are delicious - MrEH tells me the same is true of the strawberry ones. Thick, creamy and very tasty.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

@Suffolk_lass - Yes, that is EXACTLY what those tins will look like at this rate!
Interesting comments about yoghurt. Thanks. I do eat natural yoghurt too, but I like a ramekin of a high quality fruit or nut or ginger one for dessert. I know I am fussy about yoghurt as if there are none of the more upmarket brands on offer, I'd rather go without. I do have a yoghurt maker - a very simple one - & used to make pretty decent yoghurt in it years ago when I lived in my old house. For some reason, each time I've tried to make it since we've lived here, it has been a fail, so I have given up for now.
And here's today's post of budget-friendly doings:
*A no-spend day
*Will be using the last container of Sunday's roast chicken in some curry tonight. I got the chicken soup made with the container I saved for that plus a jug of the fresh stock I made yesterday. 4 portions now frozen as well as a microwaveable mug for a work lunch next week.
*Turned some of my big jar of ancient chickpeas into a batch of falafels - I always use the recipe for chickpea croquettes in the Crank's cookbook & just make smaller round ones - Anyway, a ropey looking one was added to my lunch & the rest have been frozen for festive snacks. Apart from making inroads into the rather elderly chickpeas, I was also able to incorporate another use-it-up as I used the last little bit of a bag of polenta for coating the falafels prior to cooking them.
*Did a survey. I must make sure I don't spend that 15p all at once.
*Made tomorrow's packed lunch & breakfast.
*Sorted clean laundry & did as little ironing as I could get away with.
*Wrote the last of this year's Christmas letters so I can make double use of the postage.
Had a 2 or 3 jobs which involved going down the garden but have been waiting in all day for a parcel. I am wondering it there is sickness absence among our local team of posties as it's usually such a reliable service, but the last 2 Christmas presents I'm waiting for should have arrived today by 11.14am - an estimate, I know, but I have since received another email saying delivery will now be before 7.30pm. I hope they arrive before Mr F gets home or I will have to beat him to the door.....one of the presents is for him & the packaging may be branded. He likes surprises where presents are concerned but he has eagle eyes & spots everything, so I really could have done with there not being post problems today. Having said that, our local postie is a really nice chap, very helpful & I am hoping he's not poorly.
Right, it is dark as pitch out there already, so I am going to close the curtains & see if Soot & Ash are around for their afternoon treats, then a chapter of my book if I'm lucky.

15p survey....some of them do really take the mick, don't they? I had a 10p one, but also a few other really good ones and a bonus added from one I did the other day, so can't complain about the 10p one really. And every little helps, as Mr T would say.
Hope your parcels arrive ok.Making the debt go down and savings go up

One of my 'trying to find energy for' jobs this evening is to wrap one of Mr PIP's gifts which arrived today- with the very specific brand in mahoosive print on the box! Come on companies, it's three weeks till Christmas day, do us a favour!7

When my RM delivery says by 7.30 it usually means it is coming by van & not the normal postman.

Mr SA used to really annoy my mum by feeling all the presents under her tree and guessing what they were. I don’t put his presents under our tree until Christmas Day for this very reason.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

My whole extended family's Christmas catchphrase is 'don't be fooled by the box!' and is entirely there to prevent this sort of behaviour 😁
The stealth method works very well, except when someone has bought you something considerate and lovely but you'd started rather fancying the mint matchmakers the gift was disguised as 😂8
