@EssexHebridean - It was indeed a good plan because suffice to say we refused delivery & our car was loaded straight back on the transporter, meaning that the whole damn situation is still rumbling on.
Annoyed about other stuff today as well & feel like throwing in the towel & retiring to the shed with a box over my head, tho' realistically, it's too spidery in there for that. Just sat down for lunch & Mr F has fired up the coffee machine. Will thus attempt to get a grip on my mood & not waste the afternoon on negativity & overthinking.
For the moment, bah to everything!

Oh what an absolute pain. At least you were both there so you weren't lumbered with a bad job.
Hope the coffee perks you up, I am also prescribing a cheering biscuit7 -
Oh no!! What an absolute menace the whole situation is! Hope it does get resolved eventually x7

Are the details of the motor too agonising to share @foxgloves? If not and if it would be cathartic, please rant in detail and at will! Love Humdinger xx7

Oh what an absolute pain - I know I went over mine with a fine-toothed comb when I got it back, and was thankfully delighted with the results, but I to wouldn't have hesitated to refuse to accept it had I not been!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks all.
@Humdinger1 - It's a saga, which I may feel more like typing out tomorrow. At the moment, I feel like hurling stuff at the wall & eating buns.
