Enjoy the bubbles.Did they say not to have red or purple cordial as it can stain. That’s what my literature said this time but it has never mentioned that when I’ve had it previously….but that was a different hospital. Just wondered if it’s this particular hospital or things have moved on since last time I had it.January spends - £587.585

@milann - No, there was nothing in my list of food rules about cordial colours & on both occasions when I went to collect the evil bottle & a nurse went through a question sheet with me, the only substance I was told to avoid was B*scopan, which I don't routinely take anyway. Hope your investigations go smoothly. Am looking forward to Tuesday!

Hope all goes well, sorry to see you having health issues and issues with the hospital on top of that x4

Thanks all. Am bearing up under adversity. Actually, breakfast was normal as could have 1 egg & a slice of white toast, so the only deprivation was having to drink my coffee black as wasn't allowed milk. Lunch was 2 more slices of toast & 200g of chicken breast, which seemed a very large amount for a lunch portion plus some jelly. But that's me done for the day really as I am chugging my way through a hot mug of marmite atm (I don't buy the brands suggested), can have another small portion of jelly, then it is just clear fluids & more nasty medicine this evening..i have an early appt tomorrow so will.have breakfast & proper coffee when I get home.
I have kept myself busy.....have sourced lots of topographical photos to illustrate my genealogy project, put away all the veg I picked yesterday & prepped & frozen the beans. Also did a laundry load though it's been showery so am drying it on the airer (not switched on).Mr F has fed all the veg & we've discussed which bed is best for my lettuce babies.
Not quite a no-spend day as we went halves on an Observer. Other than that, I've finished the last few pages of my library book & started the next one.
Well, I must hie me away to the fridge to fetch a very modest portion of jelly - my last food of the day.
Onwards......

I hope you're planning roast peacock post-hospital @foxgloves? Thinking of you and sending love Humdinger xx5

Lol, @Humdinger1. No roast peacock here. I like peacocks. A group of them tried to photo-bomb our wedding! Thanks for your kind wishes. I am suddenly fancying a seville orange gin & tonic, but I am resisting as it's a bit of a stretch to class it as a 'clear fluid' for scan purposes.
