Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Unfortunately I shall not get it over & done with today as the scanner has broken & I will need to be re-booked. Am really fed-up, esp as I did all the special diet & most of the horrible medicine yesterday. Am keeping busy to prevent overthinking everything. Have been meaning to post about how our veggie-growing is going, so will defo do that at some point too.

Oh no how annoying! You must be so fed up of this, naturally you just want to get it done and get on with things. I hope you're not waiting too long for another appointment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

How utterly frustrating for you!
Do tell us how things are going in the garden though - it's always good to hear what's working well for others (is it cucumbers or courgettes that you are drowning under, or has your fridge been entirely taken over by long green things of one variety or another?!).Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks all. Yes, I got on the phone to the main hospital good & early & managed to secure the replacement appointment they offered me yesterday later afternoon, but which I was unable to confirm firstly because I couldn't get hold of Mr F to check car availability, then when he had managed to pop out of his meeting for a couple of minutes to talk to me, I then couldn't get through to the hospital, even after giving both extension numbers 10 tries. They are just so busy & were having to try & rearrange everyone. To be fair, they did offer me early this morning at the main hospital for my replacement scan as they were obviously prioritising patients who had already done the colon-cleanse palava. I turned this down, as didn't fancy a 22-mile drive after the er.......very effective nasty liquid they gave me. Thankfully, nobody had been booked into that free Monday morning slot at our local hospital (2 miles away) so I grabbed that one & feel that I have now done everything I can & at least it's back in the diary. It saves on 40 miles of petrol & as I had some loose change in my purse, I've already put the hospital car park money aside ready. That can be my first item of money saving for today. I just hope the damn machine is mended by then or I shall be cussing like a docker.
