@foxgloves I'm torn between hysterical laughter at your witty exposition of CD and egg-mayhem and sympathy. Just one thing though: even if the cats had planned and executed the whole debacle, quite possibly calling in expert outside consultants, it would not have been their fault. Cats can never be wrong...8

I made Twinks last night using gluten free flour and they are definitely lovely xx9

I'm in awe of all the bakers! not to mention the self-restraint & freezer use.
I've never taken to making homemade cakes or biscuits as my sweet tooth is next to non-existant and my willpower for baked goods fresh out of the oven even less so! The closest we come to a sweet treat is store-bought digestives with some sharp cheddar or blue with grapes on the side. Savoury baking is the only kind I've done regularly, for guests or potlucks, quiche and tarts of all descriptions, cheesestraws, spanokapita, mini spring rolls and cocktail samosas.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Thanks for recipe. I have just made half quantity and they are lovely. I maybe left them in a few minutes too long, but that makes them great for dunking in your coffee. They will certainly not go to waste.7

Did you need to tweak any of the quantities to get them to work?Four_Seasons said:I made Twinks last night using gluten free flour and they are definitely lovely xxFour_Seasons said:Whoops meant to say gluten free oats as well xxFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

It is actually in the Grocery Challenge recipe section each month but under Twink!!!8217;s Hobnobs in the Sweets section. For awhile there was a problem with apostrophes coming out strangely. Apparently it hasn't been corrected in the Recipe Section.

I just added half a teaspoon of baking powder to the Sr flour, I always think it needs a little extra, everything else was to recipe xx5
