You are of course quite right and the chart is a bit simplistic, longevity and quality of life depend on more than a simple count. I'm sure charts exist showing how many months/years of healthy life we lose by eating a certain number of bacon sandwiches but they don't tell the full story. I was just struck by it because I was once very much in the upper alcohol consumption tier. I drank seven days a week, usually a bottle of wine but often more plus spirits for many years; and whether the chart is accurate or not I believe it would have shortened my life. Maybe it already has but I hope and believe that the lifestyle changes I have made mean I've dodged the bullet. Xoceandreamer said:7/21 please.
