Happy New Year everyone.21/20 for December please cathybird.and that means I passed my target of 300 days for the year, reaching 310 AFD for the year10 days using alcohol this month, normally around 4 or 5 days, and I think I even completed 2 or 3 months totally AF but it was holiday season;people kept giving me alcohol!,so on the whole I am quite pleased with the year in the light of all the issues.Mr Dusty has been quiet for over a week.No great escape attempts, less aggression, but doing a lot of sleeping. His blood platelet count is skyhigh unfortunately,up 25%.That can trigger confusion etc,so another round of xrays and scans bloodtests and nurse visits all pencilled in for January, but things are at least calmer and less stressfulI know we are supposed to post regularly in this group and I am only doing it rarely, and very much miss participating, but bear with me,if we get Mr D stabilised and on a regular regime possibly life will be less fraught and I can participate once more!So on to 2025.For January I will aim for my usual 24 days AF6

I ended up on 11 I think but that is ok. 2025, a new month a new year and this year, no real resolutions but with your help I'm going to get this sorted. So declaring early for today 1/18
Just found the right thread - great start LOLMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Happy New Year,
Reset please Cathy : 1 please. No taking part in any challenges just seeing how I get on. Big holiday at the end of the month, otherwise nothing very exciting in January.
Thanks Cathy.

Good morning, everyone. I'm still here fighting fit. 31 for December, please. I'll make that 364 AFDS in total for 2024 And who for today, and therefore 2025. Well, New Year's Eve gig was fun, as you'd expect it to be. No dodgy dancers, but there was one particular thing that did make me chuckle somewhat - in the middle of the dance floor. It seemed there was a game in which people had to pick up from the floor a cardboard box with their teeth. That's a new one for me, that's for sure. Anyway, one lady decided to try to pick up this box by leaning over and keeping her legs straight, facing away from the stage. Now, I think the polite term to use for her build was - well nourished. And the further she bent over, the wider the... well, let's say, use your imagination on that one! at one point I thought she was going to set the sprinklers off. Yes, it was different. Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!3
