Hi there folks. Sorry to sign in lateand with a poor score for November20/24,first time in years I didnt meet my target.Bad monthYou may remember that last month Mr Dusty had become very paranoid about me and my kids. DS1 arranged for DNA tests and the results of course,showed all our kids have the same parents,odds of someone else being over 230 million to 1 . He finally accepted the results,but his suspicions of me continue,and things got tough. Then one evening he rushed out in the dark,and the family spent ages fruitlessly searching for him in town where he liked to shop. Then a woman knocked on the door,Mr Dusty had wandered around looking for our sons house. He either tripped or faintedl,and sadly smashed up his face. Cut on the forehead,gash on the cheek,and split his lip as he broke his top front tooth in half and the lower front teeth were loosened.Bad results for a man who has had one extraction and one filling in his whole life!He lay in the dark on the cold ground till this kind family found him,wrapped him in a blanket,gave him gloves,and found the card I had thankfully placed in his bus pass with name address.He is unable to tell anyone his name .We waited nearly 90 mins for an ambulance then 4 hours to see a doc. Turns out he had a bad water infection which had caused major confusion and paranoia.He was very cold,they worried about possible skull farcture,but no that skull is super hard. He was in hospital 9 days,came home mid month and has slowly been recuperating. Not so much paranoia,and a little English shows up now and again,,and he is recovering some strength,but is much more frail than before.Of course both sons were away working so I had to struggle on 2 buses and then along miles of hospital corridors repeatedly over his stay,and the constant leaning on my stick made me end up with major carpal tunnel issues,couldnt use my right hand for almost 2 weeks,fortunately its back to normal nowUnfortunately I succumbed and had quire a lot of whiskey on many days,,but hopefully can manage to reach my years goal.But it is Xmas month,so I'll set my December target at 20 days5

@satchmo great news xx
@leftatthetrafficlights well done on being sober 60 days!
@dustydigger 20 is an incredibly good result under the circumstances! Happy to hear you found Mr D and he survived his ordeal - hope he makes a recovery - sounds like you need someone to look after you too, hope you can rest up and take care of yourself as far as you can xxx4 -
@dustydigger, sorry to hear how bad November was! Water infections often make a person paranoid / act out of character / prone to falling.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4

So sorry to hear about Mr Dusty’s fall and water infection - it must be very hard for you - please try and make time to look after yourself as well as caring for Mr D. I think 20 AFD’s is an amazing achievement considering the circumstances.
3/10 for today please cathybird3
