@dustydigger
Sorry you have been so unwell, and that your GP is so inflexible re the B12 jab.
Sorry also that Mr Dusty has ET. I have Polycythemia Vera which is in the same family of blood cancers, but PV is an excess of red blood cells. It's a pity a PV patients blood can't be used. I too take hydroxycarbamide, and getting the dose right can take some time. One thing I'd urge is that if possible Mr Dusty should drink a minimum of 3 litres of water a day - or water and decaf tea. It helps thin the blood. Is he also taking a daily mini-Asprin? If not, then question why, because that's to try to inhibit blood clots. Another thing to note is that Mr D should come off the blood donation register, and also the organ donor register because of the hydrea.
4/20 AFDs for me today please.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3 -
I am 4/25 today please cathybird. Thank you. X2

3/15 please for tonight Saturday. However I had a planned drink yesterday, a meal with friends but certainly drank too much. I need to control this when I am having a drink.
