Thats me declared for January. I had one drink of whiskey yesterday,made it last an hour,and did without a refill. In days of old I would have had 3 doubles when I had the excuse of visitors,so happy with myself for my moderation.

Will probably repeat the situation today,not sure about tomorrow,but the gang are taking me to our favourite chinese restaurant for a meal on my birthday Tuesday.. First time there since 2019,pre-covid,so it will be fun.

I am pleased with my reaction to the booze,enjoyed it but was willing to go slow,and didnt clamour for a refill. So no regret for this next few days of indulgence. Probably back to normal by Feb 2nd,no alcohol left in the house,and I can get back to earning my fun ,often bonkers,emojis.

Thanks for your birthday wishes. Congrats for a great month for the group,so many did so well.

Here's hoping for a fantastic February.

@Dusty happy birthday, I can't drink like I used to, I could pour it down my neck with out any ill effect but now any more than a couple of drinks and I get a headache. I'm thinking that must be a good thing.
