Very sorry to hear that @satchmo1. It is never a good time for such news, but that is far too young.
4 for today please @cathybird and I will try a target of 16 for April - not too much travel planned so that should help.4 -

I'm not setting a target for April, as we've got hubby's birthday, and a holiday, plus a visit to the in-laws which we know will be emotional due to BIL's advanced prostate cancer which has spread to his spine - he's only 614 -

Good afternoon. I'm here to report that I broke my dry streak yesterday but for the best of reasons and I don't regret it.
Some of you may remember that at the beginning of the year I shared that my husband had been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer. Since then he has undergone multiple scans, tests and initial treatment to shrink the tumour. Last week he had a successful endoscopic procedure to remove the affected part of the inner lining of his oesophagus. Analysis of the cells showed that the cancer was not as far advanced as we feared. He will have to have some radio ablation to mop up any remaining abnormal cells but no major op, brutal chemo regime or intensive radiotherapy 😃 just three monthly gastroscopes to check it hasn't come back. We got the good news yesterday. It seemed a very good reason to join him in a celebratory drink!
However, that was yesterday and this is today. I won't drink today and am 27/25 please cathybird. Thank you. X5 -
