Good morning, booze Dodgers everywhere. I hope everything is fine in your world. It's now 10 for the month for me. And it looks like 980 days since a drink in the UK is doable apart from my one birthday do. But hey, you can forgive me that I'm sure. Band stuff. Last night's gig got off to a cracking start when somebody told us "I'd rather listen to the music on the speakers than you lot!". The fact that we hadn't started yet seemed to escape his attention. I mean, if you don't want to hear live music, don't go to a music pub. Surely it's like going to a restaurant and moaning because they serve food.!

7/17 for me today please. Having a rest day today, as yesterday was mostly taken up with celebrating my DIL's birthday lunch. Four of us plus a 3 year old. It was hilarious. All of us have had very serious illnesses, and the 3 ladies were comparing how long until they are considered clear. I trumped with life-long low-level chemo. DIL (35 yesterday) had breast cancer. Her friend (35 on Friday) had two brain aneurisms, DIL's mum had cancer and something else. 

DIL's friend has been seeing her specialist nurse for so long, she's been invited to the nurses retirement party!
