@dustdigger - I hope you get your eye problem sorted soon, it must be very frustrating waiting for a simple op that will make such a difference to you.
    9/20 today please Cathybird

YAY!. I got my eye done Friday. :)
Not only has the blurring gone, but I couldnt believe how bright and colourful everything looks. My eyes are struggling to adjust to each other and the new situation, but its a thousand times better,I can see the TV subtitles!.And read the computer screen without shutting one eye. :D
Was only in the hospital 40 minutes and much of that time was just waiting for dilation drops  to work,do paperwork etc  (if I got a quid for everytime I have answered the question ''Date of birth?'' over the years I could fund a trip to the Bahamas),and the actual process lasted only about 3 minutes!Totally painless, didnt even need an eye patch afterwards.
It was a bit odd when a little runnel of water started running down my face!
I am still getting intermittent lack of focus, but am told that will all go within days.
Look forward to doing more reading now. Am scaring myself with spooky tales for my Spooky October challenge .I am a bit of a wimp about reading horror - and who needs it,just turn on the news these days and you get tragic real lfe horror - but I'll try, with my brand new eyes!

Oops1 Forgot to add the main purpose of coming on here
    15/25 please cathybird
