Happy new year (and shiny new thread) everyone,

HB, lovely that you've dropped in I for one have really missed your input and wise words. Having had a few glasses of alcohol and the reasons you gave made me think that if it was only a couple of times per year then this is acceptable. The danger is that the 3 or 4 times a year morphs into once a month etc.I know I still find cutting back an absolute challenge, but that's me. However you are very obviously in a different place in your life and have been sober for such a long time. Why don't you monitor this thread to help with any decisions you decide to make about alcohol? Very selfish on my part as you were an absolute font of knowledge about this subject, and always willing to share your thoughts.

1 please Cathy,  thanks again for running the thread. Xxxx

    Arkers x

  • Happy New Year everyone 🎉

I’ve had far too many drinks over the past few days, seeing different friends and family - it’s been fun but I’m definitely happy to see the end of the festivities!

Please can I have 14 days for January, today is 1/14.
