Hi all, rehearsal and auditions for the stand-in band yesterday, we had a go at "Neunundneunzig Zuftballon".* You might know it.
9/30 for today, planning a birthday 'do' for March, I might be tempted at the local Lounge, but that would torpedo my 600+ AFDEMs! We shall wait to see.
*99 Red Balloons, a song with an interesting background - well, I think so anyway.
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!7 -
5/10 AFDs please @cathybird7

9/30 for me today please.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?7 -
I am thinking today about what I think @Coveredinbees!!!! mentioned - something to the effect of feeling grumpy at the prospect of an AF stretch. I am feeling that today. It is miserable in January, there is so little daylight, and a nice glass of wine would make things better. So I am grumpy….. But that is a transient feeling, and nothing compared to the disappointment I feel when I let myself down and miss my AF targets (which are modest enough to begin with). So I will just have to deal with grumpiness until it shifts.

This is why I like declaring early, I feel like once I've made it public to this group there's no going back, and it helps me keep on the straight and narrow, and I find myself no longer thinking about having a drink! I drank at the weekend but instead of a bottle at a time, I had one glass on Friday and one glass of Saturday, so although I drank I was still well under my usual consumption so I'm still taking it as a winAllNightDiner said:I am thinking today about what I think @Coveredinbees!!!! mentioned - something to the effect of feeling grumpy at the prospect of an AF stretch.
